Few people have the funding or network to raise what's needed when a child is placed in your family - we certainly didn't. We were already barely making it work because of medical expenses within our family, but knew that God was calling us to build our family through adoption. We were placed very quickly and were trying to love the beautiful daughter God gave us while also raising the remaining funds that were needed. It was a blessing and reminder that God is for us and sees us and is committed to life.

We would like to thank the Ftahom Family Team for the opportunity to go on a refresh retreat this weekend. It was so needed, even more than we had realized. We were asked not to think about our ministries this weekend but just to sit and rest in the presence of God. Kyle, Taran, and their team were amazing and went above and beyond in every way—to guide us, to make us feel welcomed, loved, relaxed, and fed (incredibly well). We literally did not lift a finger all weekend. The property itself was so beautiful and set up perfectly for one-on-one time with The Holy Spirit. Again, thank you!

Due to the generosity of the foundation, I had the privilege of working with a pastor at a critical time in his journey. Pastors desperately need safe places to bear their soul without judgment in order to find healing and restoration. Receiving the grant alleviated a substantial portion of the financial burden associated with the adoption process. This support allowed us to focus more on preparing our home and hearts for our new family member rather than stressing over the costs. The grant not only facilitated the adoption itself but also brought immense peace of mind during a time that can be both exciting and overwhelming.
